THE first blog:
Where do I even begin?
I should probably begin by saying HOLY COW what am I doing writing a BLOG!
This should probably be followed by: This will be a great journey!
There are alot of really neat, special, and technical (photography wise) shots of this wedding and am so glad we could fit them all in!
This past Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing one AMAZING couple (and total bridal party). Let me just say this ... I CRIED... yep, I cried. I don't do that ever! After everyone was ready to begin, BreAnna and Anthony set out for their "first look" pictures. BUT - - before they saw each other for the first time, they requested to read letters they had written for one another. This was such a special moment for them. Anthony was so sweet and wrote BreAnna letters for the great anniversary milestones they would celebrate together. He wrote her a letter for their 5th, 10th, 25th, and 50th wedding anniversaries in their future. Each was handwritten and sealed in an envelope with clearly written dates.

Macro Photography
I LOVE MY
BASICALLY- my macro lens allows me be extremely close to my subject in order to fill up the frame. Many times this type of lens is used for close ups of detailing found on a flower, dew drop, rings, etc. The photographer is able to focus on the subject at very close distances.
When I think about the word - from a linguistic standpoint - MACRO ... means BIG? correct?
I guess this does make some sense in the relation to photography in that the small items being photographed do indeed appear big on print, much bigger than their actual counterpart.
Check out the images below to see what I mean!
